On Saturday, June 25th, the United States Coast Guard was invited to present colors at the annual "We are Milton Festival" in Milton Ma. This year, organizers decided to honor the Coast Guard with a tribute to the movie "The Finest Hours" and Milton resident Bernie Weber. The movie depicted the daring rescue at sea that occurred in 1952 with a crew that included Boatswains Mate First Class Bernie Weber. The festival took place at Governor Hutchinson's Field which over looks the Neponset River and Boston. At 8:20pm, the unit was given the signal to take the stage by Milton Chief of Police Richard Wells. The national anthem was sung by well know Cambridge Police officer Paula Wells. The colors presentation was the seventh joint Team Coast presentation this year, and included YN2 Star Zander, MK3 Benjamin Shere, District Captain-Central Craig Hall, Division 12 Commander Matt Mulvey, and Flotilla 12-5 Vice-Commander Kevin Ritchie.
